Naming Difficulties

OK, so I was in this group call the Tyrell Corporation. We thought that was a pretty cool name. Obviously, it wasn't strictly original becasue we lifted it from Blade Runner. But we did think there weren't any other bands that used the name.

Until I got this message through our Myspace page:

"Hey
Did you guys support Wet Wet Wet at Alton Towers in England back in 1994? That was the first gig I went to and I remember your name from then. Would be interesting to see if it is you!" (name deleted to protect those who at the time presumably knew no better).

Great. We had the same name as a band that supported Wet Wet Wet. At Alton Towers. Sort of makes me glad we're not gigging any more.

Wiki'd Cool

Wikipedia, for all its much-documented weaknesses, is fascinatingly, addictively clickable. Which might explain how I just found myself reading the entry for Babycham.
