The End of an Era

Four years all done with. Not a particularly spectacular era, but an era's an era and I suppose you take what you can get.
The room's very empty right now. Neil's gone (off to Thailand on Friday) and Kirsty's taking her stuff down to her uncle's before going to the airport tomorrow.

It's a bright sunny day outside. I think I might get going to Hitchin early and hang around in town before the play starts. Of course, I'll be lugging the video camera around, but that's a price I'm willing to pay for Windmill Hill in the summer. If I move home, I'll be seeing a lot more of the hill, of course. Time will tell, as my plunge into the working day gathers speed. Terminal velocity might find me in Shanghai, or London. There's a Chinese-teaching position at Bedford School open at the moment, too. There's no sense in being fussy right now, though -- beggars can't be choosers.

I suppose you take what you can get, eh?
