Vitriol

Richard Dawkins is a contemptible waste of space, a pseudo-intellectual gadfly hideously symptomatic of the crossover between the cult of celebrity and the tendency of fatheaded middle England to hang on the words of anyone who's ever donned a labcoat. I don't really know what I dislike more -- the man's impenetrable aura of mind-numbing self-satisfaction, or the fact that the Birt culture of media commissioning so blithely whacks into print whatever trend-following vacuity spills forth from the man's voicebox -- pearls of wisdom fit only to be cast before swine.

Just felt like getting that one off my chest. That'll teach me to read opinion pieces in the Guardian.
