End of an Era

Last day of term yesterday - so Modern Chinese Literature: Analysis and Interpretation was my last ever BA Chinese lesson. There are revision sessions to come, but that's not quite the same thing.

In the evening I met up with Paul, and we went down to ULU where we found Leo, Christoph, Meli and some random Germans. After Leo discovered that one of the ULU barmen was a guy he used to go to school with, it was off to Old Street. En route, we attempted to pry information from Leo about his new lady-friend, but with little success. We ended up in the Pool Bar, where we spent a good amount of time elegantly wasted.

Okay, not elegantly.

I accompanied Eike to 333 so that he wouldn't be stuck by himself with the random Germans (who were pleasant enough, even if we weren't sure who they were - I think one of them knew Meli in Beijing), and got back to Dinwiddy House in time (about 4 a.m.) to find Freddie and James shouting out of their kitchen window. V was up there, too, so I popped up for a chat and a sit-down in the nice comfy stolen chair.

Back up to Stondon tomorrow for Mothers' Day, I think. On Monday, James has his gig at the college. He says they're playing "All Your Love", by the Bluesbreakers, which should be pretty cool.

And on the 8th of April, I have an interview for that parliamentary internship place. I really hope I don't blow it.
